Please read before booking
CHECK IN: 3:00 PM.
Summer Guests:
Check in: CREDIT CARD WILL BE RUN THAT DAY AND A KEY WILL BE LEFT FOR YOU IN YOUR ROOM, after 3:00 pm. If your card is declined and we can not collect payment the day of arrival, room will not be left unlocked. It is your responsibility to have a working card on file. Please call in advance if you plan on paying cash, or would like room on a different card, than what you paid your deposit with. A working credit card must be on file. Cash and cards only for payment. All guest in summer, please note we do a contactless check in. If you have any questions please call us! Please let us know if you are bringing a trailer and we will show you where to park. We will text you from our cell phone the day of check in to help make check in easy. Please make sure a working cell phone number is on file!
WINTER GUEST CHECK IN:
We will text you the day of check in with parking instructions, please make sure you have your cell phone listed and trailer length, and how many trailers are in your party! Guest park according to trailer Length. If you would like to split room with multiple party members we allow 1 card transaction per room. Please call our office if you have question about trail conditions or our policy regarding cancelation due to bad trail conditions. We understand most guests that are staying with us are snowmobiling and we check the Alger SORVA trail conditions daily. Trails must be unrideable to allow last minute cancelations.
CHECK-OUT: 11:00 AM. When guests is late for check-out and stays more than 30 minutes past check-out time guest will be charged for late check-out. Late check out fee could apply. When a guest is going to be late for check out, that guest must inform us no later than 11:00 am the day of check out. If a guest stays 1 hour past check out , resulting in the room not being ready by 3:00 pm for check-in that day. Guest will be billed for the loss of revenue, that the motel has incurred for that night.
PAYMENT: ALL RESERVATIONS REQUIRE A ONE NIGHT DEPOSIT PER ROOM. Please make arrangements with us ahead of time if you plan to use a different form of payment than the card on file. Cash is accepted for any payment other than the one night deposit, no checks or money orders. Card will still be run for deposit and a working card must be on file. Please let us know ahead of time, that you want to pay cash for remaining balance, so we know not to run your card. We will make arrangements with you for collecting cash payments.
1 Night deposit 94% refundable if more than 7 days out, 6 days out or less, deposit is non-refundable. Cancelations must give 24 hours notice from check in to not be charged full amount. We do not give refunds for guests who leave early, no exceptions. We require a 24 hour notice from the date of check in to alter reservation when removing nights.
Winter Season Exception: When trail conditions in Alger County, are deemed unridable, we will make exceptions for our Cancelation policy. No refund given for deposit, but guest will recieve a credit for deposit, good for 365 days. Please call the office if you have any questions. SORVA trail conditions must be unrideable for exception. Owners make the decision to give credit to cancelation for bad trail conditions. This does not include when guests decide to leave early.
$20 pet fee,per night. Dogs only. We do not allow dogs to be if left alone in the room other than in the winter season. Rooms 4-9 are dog friendly Max 2 dogs per room. We ask guests to crate dogs if left in winter.
If animal were to cause distruction to room, guest will be charged for the cost of repairs and labor costs, and if room is unrentable guest will be reponsible for loss of revenue. Please keep an eye on your pet! All dogs must be fully upto date on their vacinations and well socialized to stay at the Timber Ridge Inn. We ask that you keep your pets off the furnature.
NO PROPANE COOKERS IN ROOMS. All griddles, grills or other cooking devices that use propane or gas must be used outside in the yard away from Motel. Electric cook wear such as crock pots are ok. Please call office with any questions. Please bring cooking untensils if you plan on cooking on the property.
No Smoking in rooms. This means all tobacco and other legal products one may smoke while visiting the Timber Ridge. Please always keep windows and doors closed when smoking on balconys or out front of room. $250.00 charge for smoking in rooms.
On the occourance of room damage, the guests will be liable to the Motel for damages and labor, and losses caused by them and their agents or event participants, with out having to prove the fault. The damage must be pointed out to the Motel, at the latest, by the time of leaving the Motel property. Damages including personal property, brought to the motel by the guests, are at the guests risk. The Motel accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, distruction, or indeed for financial losses, to guests property including any vehicles parked on the property. It is the responsibility of the guest to provide proof of fault. Liability for damage caused by inadvertent or minor negligence and liablility without fault are explicity excluded. Under no circumstances does the Motel accept liability for services it as merely procured for the guests.
Absolutely no fighting, drunken or disorderly conduct. All Guests in the party will be imediatly asked to leave, and will not recieve a refund for lost nights. Guests will be banned from property if found in violation of this policy.
No Fuel or Oils inside Rooms, please keep any of these items outside the room. Do not put oils, fuels or any thing else into our plumbing systems that could harm the septic systems.
Do not dump any hazerdous waist such as oil, fuel, ect into the ground on our property that could contaminate our drinking water. Our water comes from natural springs found on the property and is tested quarterly for consumer saftey.
Heated garage available for repairs only when owners are present and if space is available. Know that this is NOT a guarentee space will be available and you must have all your own tools and parts. WE CANNOT GUARENTEE THAT SPACE WILL BE ACCESSABLE OR AVAILABLE.
Trailer Parking will be limited at times when we have a full house. It is important to park where you are told to when bringing a trailer to insure all guests have a parking spot. Large Trailers may have trouble turning around in our lot when parking lot is crowded. You must put trailer lengths and how many trailers you are bringing per reservation so we can plan for parking. Please park in your designated spot that we assign at arrival. Guests will be asked to move if they do not park in designated parking areas.
